United Golf Resorts La Tercia is situated at the foot of the Sierra de Columbares natural park, and halfway between the shores of the Mediterranean and the cosmopolitan city of Murcia.
The local village of La Tercia is situated nearby the Valle Del Sol, also known as the garden of Europe. The Village offers a wine bar and a small supermarket. Murcia city with its medieval cathedral and shops is 20 minutes away.
In the opposite direction, a twenty minute drive takes you to the beautiful sandy beaches of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean.
For the Golfers, Peraleja Golf, Hacienda Riquelme, La Torre, Mosa Trajectum and El Valle are all close by. Numerous other courses are within 20/25 minutes drive.
Along with golf, many other activities are available in the area, boat charters,wind surfing/Kiting,sailing and any other water sport are all local.
The therapeutic mud baths and thermal springs of Lo Pagan are nearby, at the north end of the Mar Menor.The natural park in the Carrascoy Mountains is nearby and is ideal for walking and hiking. The Spa town of Fortuna is just north of Murcia City.
